Not
Alone
August 2003

PA based rock band Not Alone
has received extensive radio play both regionally
and nationally on commercial, college, and public
radio. This radio success combined with hundreds of
hours of hard work have landed Not Alone live performances
at the most notable original music venues and university
campuses throughout eastern PA and beyond. The band
recently played to an enthusiastic throng of concert
goers at the three day 11th annual Hexfest music festival
with national acts Town Hall, The Recipe, and Michael
Glabicki of Rusted Root and will be featured on the
upcoming DRP Records compilation CD, Gimmie
The Medicine II, to be released in the fall
of 2003 and distributed nationally. Additional national
acts with whom Not Alone has appeared include July
For Kings and the Clayton Miller Blues Band.
Often described as - but certainly
not limited to - driving acoustic based improvisational
rock, the band's intense and distinctive sound has
evolved to stand alone in the performing rock genres
of the region. Not Alone weaves together classic and
modern rock, folk and jazz, groove and funk influences
with masterful introspective lyrics and intense instrumental
improvisation to create an electrifying and contagious
new sound. Their music explores a wide range of dynamics,
rhythms, emotions, and intricate talents while their
lyrics search out an even broader array of the human
condition. The group's depth of soul and instrumental
and song writing ingenuities combined with their exhilarating
live stage presence continue to magnetize fans of
all ages.
Socially conscious, Not Alone volunteers
to do their part in fund-raisers such as the United
Way's September 11th Fund concert in Downingtown,
PA. The band also co-headlined to a stadium full of
screaming fans at the Imagine 2002 concert
in Reading, PA; played at the 'March Against Violence'
benefit concert in Reading, PA; headlined at the Elizabethtown
College F.A.S.E. student benefit concert; and played
at the Dancing for Dreams fundraiser at West Chester
University. Additionally, Not Alone coordinated and
performed a 2-hour benefit concert in Boyertowns
1,200-seat Kuszyk Auditorium raising in excess of
$2,000 for Jess Sunshine Fund aiding families
who suffer from long-term catastrophic injury or illness.
Not Alone is constantly expanding
its fan base, composing new music, booking shows and
winning the hearts of music fans throughout the region
as their driving music spreads through word of mouth,
radio, and the Internet. The band's website, professional
and diverse in content, boasts an incredible 30,000
hits monthly with 200 plus MP3 downloads. Not Alone's
passion for their music, innate song writing and energetic
performing talents, and their determination to succeed
will keep their feet to the path and their eyes on
the stars, no matter where the road ahead may lead.
